Hand dryers are electrical devices used for drying a person’s hands by blowing warm air over them. Paper towels were found to be more effective for removing bacteria from fingertips but not palms and fingers. This study finally concluded that hot air drying of stationary hands for 30 seconds with UV light was more effective for removing bacteria than paper towel drying.
